An Interview with Scarlett

How would your friends describe your personality?

I’ve been described as being of another time, as though I have lived several lives before. I have qualities of the mystic. Comfortable hiking as well as attending the opera. Quick to crack a joke. I’m told that I’m also very warm and inviting, intelligent, playful, and a little unconventional. Sophisticated in presentation and conversation. An interested listener. I want to know your story.

What are some of your favorite things?

A vase full of fresh peonies, a dry, red wine or smooth bourbon, firelight, a fresh manicure, a warm cappuccino, the feeling of the earth under my feet, a well-made, leather handbag, a new stamp on my passport, the warmth and comfort of touch, adding funds to my investment accounts, cool mist against my cheeks, the first taste of a glass of wine, the smell of a new city. The moments when I am struck by a line poetry that is perfect, or hear a few notes of music that break my heart, or meet someone else’s eyes for a moment and suddenly we are both entirely ourselves and so much more.

What are your vices?

Beauty and pleasure. There is so much to be experienced in their many, exquisite forms. I am insatiable. I want to taste it all.

What are your hobbies?

Reading (fiction and nonfiction), travel, going to the theatre, cooking, kickboxing, weight training, visiting galleries and museums, and having new, singular experiences, like a whiskey tasting or attending a concert.

Do you enjoy what you do?

I am incredibly fortunate to be able to travel the world and meet beautiful souls, to share moments of vulnerability and laughter, to learn from others, to create art out of each other, to experience healing and passion. I’m a lucky woman who is uniquely suited to this work.

What is your perfect date?

As the resident #DreamDate creator and curator, I have limitless concepts for a beautiful date. I write and publish many of them on my twitter page and my blog.
I think the perfect date is after you’ve already had several together, when you have a comfortable report, you’re familiar yet curious, the connection is developing roots, and you pursue experiences that you want to have together. When you say, “I want you by my side for this.” How beautiful. A romantic date, like toasting each other on the deck of a sailboat, and coming ashore for dinner. Perhaps attending a performance we both love, and then waking up together for breakfast.

What kinds of gifts do you like best?

Gifts are very thoughtful.
My favorite kinds of gifts include things I can use or experience:
A pair of shoes, a trip abroad, tickets to a show, a beautiful bracelet, a spa day, a new appliance, a gift card. I enjoy gifts that bring beauty and ease to my life, so thank you!

What do you like about yourself?

My curiosity and hunger for life. I experience the world acutely through my five senses. Sensory experiences move through me like vibrations in a tuning fork and I make music with it. I am anything but complacent. I am intentional in the curation of my experiences. I can think of nothing better than collecting new sights, sounds, tastes and more so that I may look back on my days and smile with satisfaction, knowing that I sat at life’s banquet table and ate my fill with relish.

What do you like in a man?

Kindness, generosity, sensitivity. A romantic at heart. Childlike silliness and curiosity. A little darkness. He knows that life is short and wants me to be a part of his as much as possible. He knows that the best experiences are not passive, but created through active, open participation. He’s a good collaborator. He takes care of himself, so that he can take care of me during our time together. He is well groomed, and takes care of his hygiene. He wants me on his arm to celebrate his successes. His masculine energy wants to experience the balance and joy of my feminine energy. He shares his knowledge with me. When he isn’t with me, he’s thinking about what our next fun date experience could be. When he chooses a cologne or a pair of cufflinks, he thinks of me.

What are your turn offs?

Rudeness, a lack of hygiene, not following through. A good life and great experiences require effort and heart. I won’t waste time on anything less. My “Etiquette” section of this site makes my expectations clear.
